Hey all, Anisha here. I am a certified cat lady and dog-obsessed human. After nearly 10 years in pet care, I can’t imagine life without these fur babies. Some of my favorite households can be multi-pet households. Two that stand out are a four kitty household and another with four cats and two dogs. I don’t know if I’d call them a circus or a zoo. During COVID, when people didn’t need sitters, I was fortunate enough to work with a rescue and foster dogs. Funnily enough, I went from caring for and rehabilitating a 10 lb dog to a 100 lb dog! Both remain very precious to me, and I stay in touch with their owners. I am also lucky to have my own void kitty, a beautiful black fluffy mama’s boy named Kaalu. He’s very loved and well cared for by family while I’m away on sittings.
Although those around me consider animals to be my main interest, I promise I have plenty of hobbies as well! I enjoy pottery, video games, board games, and live comedy and concerts. The Bay Area has so much to offer! I’m also a BIG Halloween fan since it’s my birthday! Some of my costumes over the past few years have included Muriel from Courage the Cowardly Dog, Cookie Monster, a light-up sea nettle jellyfish, and a cow. This year, I’ll be dressing up as a silly goose in a ballerina costume and going to Boo at the Zoo held at the Oakland Zoo.
