I’m an East Coast transplant who’s called the Bay Area home for more than 25 years. My professional life spans graphic design, instructional design, and real estate, but one consistent thread throughout my life has been a deep connection with animals, I’m the kind of person who stops to greet every cat on the sidewalk and knows all the dogs in my neighborhood by name (and preferred treat)!
Animals have been a constant in my life since childhood, starting with kittens who grew up right alongside me. As an adult, I’ve had the joy of adopting senior dogs, including those with special needs like allergies, cancer, and neurological issues that cause seizures. Caring for them taught me patience, attentiveness, responsibility. and the importance of meeting each pet exactly where they are.
In addition to caring for my own animals, I’ve also volunteered with animal shelters and foster programs, so I understand how to support pets with different personalities, histories, and comfort levels. Whether your companion is shy, spirited, snuggly, or somewhere in between, I approach every pet in my care with the same respect, patience, and affection I give my own.
When you trust me with your pet, you get someone who takes the responsibility seriously but still brings humor, warmth, and plenty of belly rubs (where applicable). I’d love to meet your furry family member and give them the safe, loving, happy care they deserve.
