Sierra is a petless pet sitter who loves caring for cats and dogs while saving for her next big step: graduate school. She grew up with three dogs and three cats, volunteered with animal shelters, and has long been the go-to sitter for friends and family when their furry companions need care.
Her love of animals began early. In kindergarten, her teacher frequently fostered litters of kittens through the SPCA, and Sierra eagerly helped with feedings during recess. In elementary school, she became fascinated by a book about dog breeds and still enjoys learning about dogs through blogs such as The Dogist.
Because apartment restrictions currently prevent her from having pets of her own, pet sitting gives Sierra the quality animal time she misses—from the rumble of a cat’s purr and excited meows at mealtime to the companionship and playful personalities of dogs.
Outside of pet sitting, Sierra works part-time at a bakery and tutors soccer players while saving for a master’s degree in psychology. In her free time, she enjoys cooking elaborate meals, playing Dungeons & Dragons, weightlifting, Pilates, and taking neighborhood walks along routes that pass her favorite local cat hangouts. Sierra would be delighted to care for your companions and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away.
