“We reached out to The Comforted Kitty based upon our regular cat sitter’s recommendation when she was unavailable. Sherri H. came and met us and our kitties, took detailed notes, and then came and took care of them over both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday breaks. Sherri went above and beyond both with caring for our cats, keeping the house very clean and tidy, communicating with us every day (pictures of the cats, details about each visit, etc.), and making sure that mail and packages were brought into the house. She even left a fun peacock feather toy as a gift for the kitties. During the first set of visits, Sherri noticed there were a few ants in the kitchen and made sure to sweep the area, place the cat food bowls in plates with moats of water, and to keep the sink wiped clean with dish soap. When we got home – no ants – hooray! Finally, after many of our vacations, we are used to returning home to a not so pleasant “vet’s office” smell – likely a combination of stressed cats and perhaps insufficient cleaning of messes. However, when we returned home after Sherri had been caring for our cats and home, we noticed that the house did not smell bad – hooray! We would highly recommend Sherri H. at The Comforted Kitty!”
