About Sarah K.

I’m a life-long animal lover who has experience caring for many types of pets over my lifetime including cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, reptiles and frogs. I have a degree in biology, and animals are one of my passions. I have fond memories of the cats I have had over my lifetime and have always liked cats for their gentleness and sweet personalities. I recently moved from my career in special education to spend more time with my family, including my young, active dog. I feel privileged to be able to care for others’ pets and give them all the love and attention they need.

“Dan and the service at The Comforted Kitty is incredible! They have an app that makes requesting service, paying invoices, updating pet information, and communicating with the sitters super easy. Dan is so prompt about coordinating services and for the first one we scheduled a house visit so the sitter could get accustomed to my cat and his routine. I’ve had two sitters, Kendall and Sarah. They’ve both been amazing and my cat absolutely loved them and he can sometimes be pretty shy. They even send texts and updates at each visit with photos. My cat is relatively low maintenance but gets pretty bent out of shape when he has to go to another location, so I’m so glad I came across the Comforted Kitty! I highly recommend them for your cat pwatching requests. An added bonus for me is peace of mind as there’s someone showing up at the house while I’m out of town!”
