About Melissa A.

Hello! I currently work at an animal shelter in Walnut Creek and walk dogs of all shapes and sizes every day. I have extensive training in dog handling, reading body language/cues, and redirecting from potential triggers (other dogs, bicycles, etc.). I have been providing cat care through The Comforted Kitty for a year now and have many return clients. I am excited to begin offering dog walking/sitting services as well! My personal dogs are a pair of Great Danes, so I’m confident I can handle anything you’ve got!

Cancellation and Short Notice Policies

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation submitted less than 24 hours, next scheduled sitting is charged

Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday Cancellations: Less than 72 hours notice: 50% of deposit forfeited

Short Notice Requests: Less than 48 hours from start of sitting: $20 fee
