Hi, I’m Marie! I’ve been a cat sitter for 8 years and also worked as a Medical Manager for a cat rescue for 6 years, so I’m comfortable giving meds and handling treatment plans. I have a soft spot for shy and undersocialized cats – I love getting to know them on their own terms. My approach to cat sitting is centered around understanding each cat as an individual. I’m committed to providing the best possible care, taking into account their physical, mental, and emotional needs. Basically, I want to make sure your kitty is happy and healthy while you’re away! When I’m not cat sitting, you can find me singing, hiking, or volunteering with community cats. I’d love to meet your furry friend!

When we had our introductory meeting, she knew exactly how to approach (or not approach) each of our 3 kitties for the first time. She was highly intuitive with the cat care, and would even notice when things like the litter box patterns changed (which we greatly appreciated hearing about considering our one cat has had past urinary tract issues). Cancellation and Short Notice Policies

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation submitted less than 48 hours, next scheduled sitting is charged

Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday Cancellations: Less than 7 days notice: 50% of deposit forfeited

Short Notice Requests: Less than 48 hours from start of sitting: $20 fee
