Hi there! My name is Mariah, and I am so excited to meet your kitties! Like many, I have loved cats for as long as I can remember, but unlike most, my entire professional career has been tailored to both caring for and nurturing our beautiful feline friends. 🐈⬛
I have been a diligent pet sitter for over a decade, I am a practiced cat groomer, and I have worked in several veterinary hospitals since receiving my Veterinary Assistant certificate in 2019. During my time in hospital settings, I quickly became the team member regularly called to assist in treating most of the cats that came in, especially the spicier patients, because of my ability to anticipate and contain their potentially unruly, erratic behavior in such a high-stress environment. I am very proficient in reading cats of all shapes, sizes, and ages. Trust and patience are both very important to the kitties I’ve cared for, and I am more than happy to move at your individual cat’s pace, providing whatever they need whenever they need it.
While I am currently located in Burbank, I also provide services in Toluca Lake, Studio City, Valley Village, North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Glendale, Montrose, La Cañada Flintridge, Pasadena, Altadena, and Sun Valley. I still work with cats in a professional setting, and my typical work hours are 9am – 4pm, Thursdays – Sundays; however, I have previously made stops before and after work without any hassle. As long as it works out best for your cat’s routine/schedule, I am more than happy to do that for you as well! My purpose as a cat sitter is to create a calm, stress-free environment for every kitty I care for, while making sure they’re happy, safe, and healthy.
As a long time cat parent myself, I know how anxiety-inducing leaving your cat(s) at home can be. As a reminder, I am here to provide for both your cat(s) AND you!
