About Lloyd K.

When I was ten years old, I rescued my first cat who was trapped on a mountainside. I heard him crying, found him, disentangled him, and brought him home. He was a beautiful tabby boy. I begged my mom to keep him. She said that if I learned what I needed to do to take care of him, we could keep him. I agreed, and thus began my lifelong connection with cats and caretaking of cats. By trade I am a psychologist who has worked mostly in the video game industry and currently work as a food taste tester. I love listening to music, sports, playing board games or computer games, doing work in the garden, hiking, cooking and baking bread. There are so many amazing cats in this world and I get to meet them through cat-sitting. I understand how important they are. They are family. I miss my cats when I am away, and I know that having someone responsible and reliable taking care of them and giving them love and attention, makes all the difference in the world. I look forward to meeting your cats and giving them the best care that I can!

“Lloyd has been my go-to cat sitter for all my cat-needs. He is reliable and communicative, and would send me pictures of how my cat was doing. He is also very detailed, and would make sure that he knew where the cat carrier was, and our vet just in case there were any emergencies. He is also something of a cat whisperer, and will win over even the crankiest of cats. He’s very responsible and I fully trusted him with my home and my cat during any of my extended trips. “We have a senior cat (now 17) who Lloyd has cat sat for on probably no fewer than 6-7 occasions over the last few years. Lloyd is exceptionally caring and thoughtful in his cat-sitting – he spends time with our cat, sends us texts updates, and is very detail-oriented in ensuring that she is healthy and has what she needs. Lloyd really goes out of his way – on one memorable occasion, we had asked a neighbor to feed our cat but she had forgotten to do so. We realized this at around 11PM and notified Lloyd who with no delay came over to the house to feed our cat. Lloyd has been a real lifesaver on multiple occasions. He takes excellent care of his cats and is a dependable cat-sitter.”

"We have two ginger cats that love love. In the past, we've used drop-in pet sitting services, only to return to unhappy cats who've been lonely and bored without us. We're so happy we found The Comforted Kitty and Lloyd K! Lloyd provided overnight pet-sitting, lots of lap time, great communications, and tons of photos. He quickly learned both cats favorite little games. He gave our older cats meds 2x a day. And best of all, our cats welcomed us home in great moods after obviously having a great time with Lloyd while we were away. Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday Cancellations: Less than 14 days notice: 100% of deposit forfeited

Short Notice Requests: Less than 72 hours from start of sitting: $20 fee
