I’m Kate, a lifelong cat enthusiast who can’t picture a home without whiskers and paws. I’ve had cats all my life and currently care for two rescues: Zuzya, an 11-year-old gray-and-white wise soul, and George, a curious 3-year-old black cat. All of my pets have been adopted from shelters or rescued from the street—because I believe every animal deserves a loving home. I have experience caring for my own cats as well as friends’ pets while they’re away. I enjoy following detailed instructions and routines carefully, and I’m organized, responsible, and respectful of boundaries—traits cats tend to appreciate. I’m comfortable with shy or cautious cats, always moving at their pace and giving them the space they need to feel safe. I’m also great with active, playful cats and happy to spend time engaging them in games.
I’m happy to handle feeding, litter box maintenance, administering oral medications, playtime, and quiet companionship. As a book production specialist at a university press, I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and excellent at following instructions. My goal is for you to return to a calm, happy cat who feels loved—and just a little spoiled.
