Hello! My name is Julie and I was raised in the beautiful Napa Valley. After graduating from college, I worked for over 20 years in hospice, coordinating our bereavement and volunteer program. I loved my job and consider myself fortunate to have such a rewarding career and to work alongside such wonderful people. After some changes and an opportunity to move back to Napa, my husband and I moved to Napa in 2022 to manage a locally owned mini-storage that was owned by a family I had worked for on and off since I was a child. I’m currently working as a substitute teacher. It’s a new experience for me, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. I’ve done some pet sitting over the years for friends and family. Most recently I have pet sat for two owners with dogs. One was an overnight situation and the other was just for a day. My husband and I have a dog. He’s a 5 yr old Havanese (Max). He’s a cutie, and he knows it. We lost our 14 yr old cat (Ginger) last October. Our plan is to adopt another cat very soon. I enjoy reading, walking with “Maxie,” nature, traveling, shopping, and the beach is my happy place. I would describe myself as a responsible, dependable, and conscientious person. In fact, my husband gives be a hard time when we are checking out of a hotel, as I am busy straightening up the room! lol I would be honored to take care of your beloved pet.
