I have been a pet sitter for over 10 years working with cats. I was also a volunteer at the Silicon Valley Humane Society in Milpitas for over 6 years working in the kitten nursery and adult cats. Feeding them, changing the cages, and socializing them so they can be adopted. I have a keen eye for details and genuine care for your fur babies. I am well versed in taking care of special needs kitties/cats and can administer oral, transdermal medicine.

Other general pet sitting services sometimes pairs you with a sitter that may not be as experience with cats, but that has not been the case at all with the Comforted Kitty! I had two different sitters and both were so good at communicating, sending picture updates, and respecting my two kitties' unique personalities. I have one kitty who is incredibly shy and skittish and by the end of the service, he was coming out for pets from the sitters -- I think that says it all! I love that I can make updates to my care instructions in the app and it will automatically update their website care instructions as well. "First rate experience when Debbie came to our house to check our year old, very shy, little fur baby while we were out of town over a long weekend. They have info on each sitter on their website. Debbie has a lot of experience working with cats and we were lucky she was available for us. The app takes a little time to type in all the requested info, but now the sitter has all the info needed for each different client without needing amazing memory from a meet and greet weeks prior. The app generates a text and/or email (configurable) when sitter arrives and another when they leave with a status message."

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation submitted less than 48 hours, next scheduled sitting is charged

Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday Cancellations: Less than 14 days notice: 100% of deposit forfeited

Short Notice Requests: Less than 48 hours from start of sitting: $20 fee
