About Cynthia P.

Cynthia was born & raised in Sacramento and has had cats in her home since she was born so she can’t help but have so much love for them! She has been cat-sitting since she was a teenager, but have been doing it professionally for the past 2 years. Cynthia earned her Bachelor degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from CSU Northridge. She spent 15 years living in Los Angeles as professional dancer & choreographer working at both Disneyland and Universal Studios and also worked as a middle school fitness and performing arts teacher. Now back in Sacramento, Cynthia works as an in-home caregiver to children with special needs and owns & runs an L.A. based dance entertainment company. Cynthia is a single mom to her 11-year-old son, and they are both fortunate to have 4 cats in their family- Dipsy, Nala, Monkey, and Princess! She enjoys supporting Sacramento’s pro sports teams by attending Rivercats and Kings games as much as she can! Cynthia is Pet First Aid certified and Pet CPR trained through the American Red Cross. She looks forward to meeting you and your cat(s)!

“Hey there. I’m a review reader, too. I wanted to write this review for my new amazing catsitter Cynthia from the Comforted Kitty because I know how it feels to be looking for the just right person to care for my beloved but very shy cats when I’m away. I also read a LOT of reviews before I decided to try out The Comforted Kitty. I booked with Cynthia, and she was absolutely FANTASTIC with both of my cats. Her genuine love and respect for animals shines through and within a day she was petting and playing with my older kitty Pippi and by the next day she was able to pet Tulip as well. Considering how super freaky shy both my girl kitties are, that is some great kitty whisperer magic!! I also appreciated how professionally managed The Comforted Kitty is. I felt better that they insist on being thorough in learning everything about your cat before you meet with your catsitter for the first time, from your cat’s favorite toys and foods to who their regular vet is should a visit be needed while you’re away. Cynthia messaged me on the app every day I was away with photos and updates that really put my mind at ease and even confirmed with me when I finally arrived home from my trip just in case she needed to extend her time caring for Pippi and Tulip if my flight had been delayed. Now I know my cats will be in great hands whenever I travel. If you’re on the fence I recommend giving them a try!”
