Hello! My name is Christy, and I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member(s)! I currently have cats of my own and have had several throughout my life, so I do believe I understand cats’ body language quite well. I have personal experience caring for a non-able-bodied kitty; if you need help with medications or expressing the bladder, I will be more than happy to share my experiences with you so that you can make it easier on your beloved kitty. I promise to care for your furry family member as if they were my own family: with respect, patience, and love. ***To Japanese speakers: I am bilingual (Japanese and English), if you would feel more comfortable speaking in Japanese.

“Fantastic service. It takes a few minutes to fill out your cat’s info when singing up, but it’s worth it. Your sitter has all the info they need to take care of your cat while you’re away, including emergency info. They try to make sure you have the same sitter every time so your pet doesn’t have to deal with constant strangers. Christy is super friendly and my cats loved her. We had a video call beforehand as I didn’t have time to meet in person before leaving, great vibes and extremely capable. “We used The Comforted Kitty for the first time over the winter holidays. We have two (very shy) cats, and Kristy was our cat-sitter. She was very responsive and communicative, giving us daily updates on how our cats were doing. Our cats always hide when anyone comes over, so they didn’t come out when Kristy was there, but she was able to find their hiding spots to confirm they were OK. She also confirmed they were eating and using the litter boxes regularly. It was such a relief to have someone taking such good care of our cats while we were out of town, and we’ll definitely use this service again (in fact, we’ve already booked Kristy for our next vacation). I also really like the app that they use. You can provide all the details about each pet’s needs, and you get daily reports while you’re away. The app also makes it super easy to communicate with your cat-sitter.”

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation submitted less than 24 hours, next scheduled sitting is charged

Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday Cancellations: Less than 72 hours notice: 100% of deposit forfeited

Short Notice Requests: Less than 48 hours from start of sitting: $20 fee
