Hello! My name is Anita & I am sure I was a cat in a past life. Got my first kitty at 5 (Sweetie Pie a beautiful siamese) and have been a crazy cat girl since. My current baby, Potato, is the love of my life at 11 years young, she has been my best friend. She runs the house, the dog & my husband. She’s 100% the boss. When I’m not at home with the furbabies, I am at work as a High School Counselor. My husband and I love to travel, so pet sitter hiring is something we do often. I’m a vintage soul who loves to read & craft. I love taking care of cats, they soothe the soul.

"My experience with The Comforted Kitty was great! We were away on a trip for a little over a week and Anita was amazing with our two cats! The whole process was very thorough, including filling out forms and having a meet and greet with the sitter before hand. Anita kept us updated with daily reports, pictures, and videos! There happened to be a day when our electronic door lock’s battery died and she called us right away so we were able to get it resolved and she was able to get in and calm our cats down. We will definitely be using The Comforted Kitty again!"

"Anita is the best! And a true cat person. She really took the extra time to get to know our kitty. He can be standoffish but she managed to make friends with him. I feel at peace leaving our cat with her and she takes the best photos of him, so I can see how’s he’s doing. I highly recommend her!!"
