About Stephanie D.

Originally from Chicago, I have made Las Vegas my home for the past 7 years. I have always had a passion for animals. I first began pet sitting 18 years ago, starting off as a dog walker and in-home sitter. My desire to care for animals grew from there and I took a volunteer assignment in rural Costa Rica to care for animals at an animal orphanage. I tended to sloths, kinkajous, monkeys, toucans, deer and coatis. When I moved to Las Vegas, I began volunteering with the local cat rescue group, Nothin’ But Love Cat & Kitten Rescue. During that time, I have fostered numerous cats of all kinds and have adopted two of my own. Before joining The Comforted Kitty, I worked as a freelance pet sitter and have experience caring for cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens in the area. I’m excited to meet you and your pets!

Cancellation and Short Notice Policies

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation submitted less than 48 hours, next scheduled sitting is charged

Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday Cancellations: Less than 72 hours notice: 100% of deposit forfeited

Short Notice Requests: Less than 48 hours from start of sitting: $20 fee
