I LOVE CATS !!…okay, I love all animals, but I have a special connection with cats. My name is Dara. I have been volunteering at a local nonprofit cat shelter / adoption center for the past twelve years. I am responsible for administering medications, and helping prepare abandoned cats for their future furever homes. I am a wire artist, and also enjoy gardening, and yoga (all of which are closely supervised by my own fur babies.)

"i use The Comforted Kitty about 5-6 times a year. normally never less than 5 days at a time. i have had several cat sitters in my time there but Dara has been my sitter for the last 2+ years. she has been extremely reliable and even though my cats are rescues and they aren't all that friendly to anyone who is not me, Dara still gives them as much love as she can from afar. and it's not just cat sitting. i was in a very bad situation where i had to leave town for a work assignment but i needed to drop off at UPS my camera and tripod set. Dara came to my house and got it there for me. The day i had to leave was a holiday so nothing was open and Dara happened to have my key because she was going to start watching the cats the next day. she had to print out labels and drop at a specific location and it was also handled perfectly. so i have had to use Dara for more than just cat sitting and it has always been done professionally and accurately."

At our meet and greet, I could tell right away that she was a great fit for us. My cats were comfortable with her immediately and I felt so at ease during my trip knowing that they were well taken care of. She is so caring and thorough and made leaving my kitties at home completely stress free. I did the 30 minute visits and I got a detailed report with photos every day.
