Hi! I’m Rebecca – an attorney, outdoor lover, and cat mom to Karen (my senior lady) and Frankie (my furry little toddler). My cat experience began as soon as I was born. I grew up with cats and dogs in my family throughout my entire life; however, I didn’t become a true cat mom until I went off to college and got Milo, who spent 19 years always by my side, turning friends and family members into first time cat owners, and defining unconditional love. During Milo’s final days battling renal failure and cancer, he required special care and it was then that I began to really understand and appreciate the importance of having someone that I could trust would give him the same love and attention that I would when I couldn’t be around.
I adopted Karen, an abused foster cat, in 2013 and worked diligently to earn her trust. Frankie was a stray kitten in my best friend’s back yard when I took him in a few years ago, bathed him, and got him healthy enough to be adopted before I fell for him and couldn’t let him go. I have been a pet sitter for friends, co-workers, family, and friends of family for years and look forward to making new furry friends!
