About Alexa V.

Hi, I’m Alexa! I’ve been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember and have spent the past decade working in various roles throughout the pet industry. In that time, I have also been caring for cats as a trusted sitter and private caretaker for friends, family, and fosters. I currently live in Tampa with my two senior cats, Sylvia and Mr. Allister Meowley, who—along with my three corgis—have been by my side through every chapter of my adult life. Outside of animal care, I’m an avid gamer, craft hobbyist, and tiny home dweller with a heart bursting for adventure and immeasurable compassion for all living creatures.

We were so concerned what to do with our feline family when we went on vacation, but she met with us and explained the process. It was a great experience. She showed up as she was scheduled and our cat was well taken care of. She played with our cat, fed our cat, changed out food and water bowls, as well as the litter boxes. Alexa was amazing! She took fantastic photos of our cat every day, which helped to reinforce our bond with our cat, even while we were gone. I cannot say enough about Alexa and The Comforted Kitty."

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation submitted less than 24 hours, next scheduled sitting is charged

Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday Cancellations: Less than 24 hours notice: 25% of deposit forfeited

Short Notice Requests: Less than 24 hours from start of sitting: $20 fee
