Your sitter reviews your cat’s routine (feeding, litter, play), any medications or special needs, home access details, and your preferences for visit updates. Your sitter will also take notes so care is consistent once visits begin.
Most meet & greets take about 20–30 minutes, depending on how detailed your routine is and whether there are medications or special instructions to review.
Absolutely yes—you’ll meet the sitter assigned to your visits. If anything changes (schedule, availability, etc.), we’ll communicate with you in advance and make sure you’re comfortable with the plan.
Make sure to fill out your profile in our Time to Pet app so your sitter has it to reference before the meeting (feeding/litter routine, medication details) and you can show where supplies are kept, and share entry instructions (keys, lockbox, alarm notes). Any notes about shy behavior, hiding spots, or favorite treats are helpful too.
Our partner sitters are experienced in keeping introductions calm and low-pressure. If your cat prefers to hide, that’s completely normal—they’ll focus on routine details, observe from a respectful distance, and follow your guidance on what feels safe for your cat.
Yes. Our sitters are thoroughly vetted, and they are all insured and bonded—so you can feel confident inviting them into your home.
No—there’s no obligation to book after the meet & greet. It’s simply a chance to make sure you feel comfortable before moving forward.
If it doesn’t feel like the right fit, you’re not required to continue. We can also work with you to find another sitter if needed.
