Animals have been such a huge part of who I am. At age 5, I knew I wanted to own a farm with a wide variety of animals and I wanted to go into the vet field as well. I grew up with dogs and spent all of my childhood begging for a cat. However, I did a 180 flip and spent my teen years diving into the theatre world rather than something like FFA. About three years ago I started working in a professional setting with dogs and rekindled my love for caring for animals. I’ve spent the last few years learning so much about dogs to help my pup and discovered a deep love and passion for dog training in the process. But as much joy as that brought me, I have found myself missing out on having more interactions with cats. I have one of my own, Tula, and I am excited to bond and care for other peoples’ kitties. Tula has taught me a lot about how cats communicate and how important boundaries are and I’m excited to bring that care and compassion into the lives of new cats.
