Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and for the past four years, I’ve turned that lifelong love into hands-on rescue work. I’m currently the Center Lead at Saving One Life and volunteer with Goats with Horns Sanctuary, where I help foster and care for cats — both the cuddly kind and the don’t-touch-me kind — as well as caretake for rescue farm animals including cows, goats, pigs, tortoises, chickens, and more.
I have 20-plus years of hands-on experience sitting with cats and dogs, including 4 years in rescue, and my jam is cat integration and behavior, helping shy or unsociable cats learn to trust people and making multi-cat households actually work. I try to step into each cat’s world — get on their level, read what they need, and go from there, whether they’re confident right away or need some time to warm up. I’m also comfortable administering oral, topical, and injectable meds, managing special diets and chronic health needs, and troubleshooting territorial issues.
While cats are my true specialty, I also love dogs and have a lot of experience dog-sitting and walking — so if you have a multi-pet household, I’ve got you covered.
By day, I’m a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Health Coach Lead, which mostly means I help people build better habits and get through change. I’m also a Reiki Master (most of my clients these days are actually animals) and hold a holistic animal care certification, so energy work and whole-body wellness are a big part of how I approach animal care, too.
At home, I’m outnumbered by two cats who run the household: Atlas, a larger-than-life 22-lber, and Poppie, a perma-kitten with an ear chop from her TNR days. Outside of work and rescue life, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen or out moving in nature.
Your pet’s comfort and care matter to me as much as they matter to you. With years of rescue work, health coaching, and holistic animal care under my belt, I’m here to treat your cat — or dog — like family.
