Michael Stone, 34, hails from Houston, Texas, and served in the U.S. Marines from 2008 to 2013, developing discipline and responsibility. He relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, in 2013 and has called it home for the past 12 years.
Michael earned a degree in Business and Sustainability from Arizona State University in 2017 and now owns two LLCs, one focused on cleaning services and the other on web services, which he manages as an entrepreneur. His cleaning business provides the flexibility to pursue his passion for animal care.
Since May 2023, Michael has been pet sitting, specializing in cat care, and finds joy in ensuring clients’ pets are happy and well-cared-for. Growing up in Houston surrounded by dogs, turtles, and snakes, Michael developed a deep love for animals.
Today, he shares his home with three cats, each with a distinct personality, keeping his days lively. He has cared for cats of all ages, from playful kittens to seniors, and occasionally dogs and small reptiles. Through hands-on experience, Michael has honed his ability to recognize behavioral cues, such as stress or illness, and is skilled at administering oral medications and monitoring health indicators like eating or litter box habits.
Michael’s pet-sitting services, offered in Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, and Ahwatukee, include feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, medication administration, and ample affection. As a paid pet sitter since May 2023, he builds trust with clients by providing personalized, attentive care, treating every pet with the same love and respect as his own.
