With over 40 years of hands-on experience, Colleen is a lifelong cat lover dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable care for felines of all ages and temperaments. She has volunteered since 2018 with Saving One Life Animal Rescue, where she cares for shy, senior, and special-needs cats, maintaining enriching environments and administering medications when needed. As a long-time pet sitter and cat owner, Colleen is skilled in everything from bottle feeding kittens to giving pills and eye/ear/nose drops to older cats. Her calm, observant nature makes her especially attuned to the needs of nervous or aging pets. Before focusing on animal care, Colleen spent 25 years as a Registered Dietitian, building a career rooted in empathy, attention to detail, and follow-through. Now retired from healthcare, she’s pursuing her passion for animals through meaningful cat sitting. When she’s not caring for cats, you’ll find her trail running or mountain biking—always active, always attentive.
